hole in my chickens beak

Does anyone know why one of my chickens has a hold in the top part of her beak? She is healthy and eats, seems fine and active. I just noticed it yesterday. I appreciate any help or suggestions anyone has. I hope this is where I'm suppose to ask a question.

Did you ever figure anything out? I've just noticed that one of my girls has one too and I'm concerned. Looks a bit like a rotten hole.
