Homage to Hazel...

Well, Hazel has gone to a very happy new home with Angie N Maine (thanks Angie), where she'll be able to free range all day and have a good rooster to keep her in line. We will miss her..... it's hard to say goodbye to a little being you've raised from babyhood; she was part of our family!! But she will be happy and hopefully lay lots of yummy eggs for Angie and her family (any egg this morning, Angie?). Here's Hazel:

wow, that is lovely baby pics to adult pics.
I noticed that Hazel's eyes really changed when she hit adulthood, do I detect a fire in the eye? or it that a breed trait? she looks really wide eyed and alert.
Hope she enjoys her new digs!! and new friends, you must miss her. but she will be happy so cheer up.
