If so what kinds of fodder should I grow? How much should I give? Is it a good nutrition source or should you always have feed out with the fodder?

It isn't a complete feed so chicken feed should still be their primary intake. I get the best luck from barley but wheat, BOSS, peas and buckwheat work too.
