Just completed my new hatcher It's 30x30x18. I'm using 250 watt. heat lamp attached to water heater thermostat. Fan and 75 watt. bulb wired direct.It's holding temp. between 95 to 101 will this work or is ther something I can do to make it better??
Oh yea. as close as i can figuare it cost $52.50 to build..

when you chech temps is it holding steady up top?
or are checking all levels?(like where the trays are and at bottom)​
 
Right now just the thermometer in the top part of the door. it clicks off @ 100' back on @ 95' I need it figuare how to get it to come on sooner.

From what I have read you may need to put the therostat closer to the heat source, about 1-2" away and have the silver part facing the heat source. I have heard that this makes a difference.​
