After a power outage and high humidity combine to do in my first try at a home made incubator. I found a more compact cooler and rebuilt it. This time for heat I am using just a 7 watt night light bulb after several days of holding temps and humidity. I was ready for eggs off to craigslist
found listing farm fresh eggs large $2.50 banty eggs $1.25
banty eggs sounded like just the ticket . after a quick call I was suppose to get there as she gathered eggs. she only got 7 banty eggs so she finnished the dozen with large eggs plus 6 more eggs they showed us around they had every thing from quail to peafowl . she kept handing me eggs
I ended up with
7 banty eggs
11 large chicken eggs (including one dark brown egg)
9 assortted pheasant eggs
1 peafowl egg
total amount she would except for the above eggs
$1
banty eggs pheasant eggs 2 large chicken eggs and peafowl egg are in the incubator
