Home made quail food. Ingredient advice please x

Hi I currently buy my quail feeds on line as there are no suppliers local to me, its proving really expensive as p&p is more than the food! I'm thinking of making my own but not sure where to start I can get non medicated chicken food easily so I was thinking of grinding it up and adding other ingredients to make it more suited to quails question is what should I add?
I have adult and I also hatch babies a lot so would need advice for both types if possible.

I know you are going to need protein. Chicken feed is only 16% or so and quail need more like 28%.
