It's home sweet home for these babies. I've seen bigger and better coop designs, but my babies seem pretty happy with their home.
 
Those chicks are so cute! Its a really nice set up. Looks like you did a great job. Is this just a temporary tractor or permant?
 
It will be their perment home, but one side opens up for free roaming when they get bigger. I'm only going to have 3 chickens in this coop. I'm housing 2 right at the moment for my Grandson for his 4-H showing. He will pick them up with in a month. So for 3 chicks, it will be ok size. Thanks for the nice complaments. I think my husband id a great job!

Is that deer netting that is on the coop? If so, its just a suggestion,but you might want to get something a little more predator proof. Like using the hardwire cloth thats super tiny. Your girls would be more secure. A raccoon could tear right through that netting.


ETA: On a side note, that is waaaay to small! How in the world are you going to fit those 16 extra birds in there? Trust me, always build like 8X's what you really need. Chickens are addicting! You only have three right now..but wait..you'll see.
