We just moved our chickens to a new coop 5 days ago. We also just added 6 chickens to the flock 3 days ago. Can I start letting them outside to free range, or will they not come home yet?

I wouldn't yet, give them at least 2 weeks and until you see they seem comfortable in their new home.

I couldn't resist!! It was a beautiful, sunny day and they were all at the door. It hasn't been nice and dry out for a while. Luckily they all went back into their comfy coop.

That's good, I've read posts of chickens running off never to be seen again. Hopefully they are already ready bonded to the coop.
