Homemade feeder box integrated into side of coop (pics)

Not sure if this has been done before so I wanted to share. I was looking for a way to make a custom a feederbox that I could refill from the outside. I used the sidewall of my coop as the "front" of the feeder box. This saves on material and allows easy access from the outside. Check it out:

Only thing I'd worry about there is rain fouling the feed. Else if it's weatherproofed, there will be no issue.

Thanks DarkWolf, There is a 16" roofoverhang right above it so I think rain getting in is an issue. I'll keep an eye on it though. You can see the roof overhangs in the link below. Its one of the more funky looking coops.
