Homemade fertilizer question; wood ash...

Interesting. I didn't know that mustard greens and alooe also could do it! What happens when the radiation is in the chlorophyl? What would that look like? I don't know about fiddle leaf figs but Mustard Greens and Aloe are in my area.
In some cases, the chlorophyl looks normal but when testing is done you can see that there is radiation present in others it can show a difference in color. The change in the color of the chlorophyl is what gives the Red Forest its color (to a point). As for what happens to the radiation after it is taken up, I'm not sure.

I couldn’t garden on my farm in north Florida without it. The pH is naturally highly acidic and devoid of nutrients. The wood ash counteracts that.

Even the native plants depend on wood ash in the form of ash from forest fires.
