homemade incubator pics and info

hi i am intrested in making my own incubator but looking for some good ideas does anyone who has or had a homemade incubator have pics the only thing im strugling with is the thermostat could i use a dimmer switch or any other ideas all help appreciated thansk

the wafer thermostat is the only way to go, for about $ 35 you can build a good solid incubator. this is what mine looks like Im useing now, made the box out of 1 inch plywood & it holds temp like a rock.

Is a wafer thermostat like the ones used on the wall for old furnaces? I like your box and would like to make one like it for lock down and hatching. also what size bulb?

I use a 40 wt. appliance bulb in mine, but you will have to experament with that to see which one works best for you.
