Homemade small coop!

First Post!

I work at an aviary near my house that has dozens of parrots and also assorted ground fowl. No surprise to any of you- I fell madly in love with the chickens!
After scouring many past posts here I felt that I had enough good info to delve into chickens for myself

A friend of mine has a barn full of building supplies that she let me have. Here is my building progress so far

I'm planning on loosely basing my coop on this design

I will be adding more ventilation though, where the people door is on that coop- I will be putting in a screened window onto the door. The dresser is going to be my nest boxes

The weather here is just miserable! Rain, wind, sleet- I'll have to wait a few days to continue
