Hi guys,

We are new to quail, just started last fall. My daughter likes to talk to them every morning/afternoon.
Besides the quail we have cats, dogs and a small garden. One day maybe we’ll have a bit more of a homestead.

For now, I enjoy raising quail not just for eggs but because I love to see their unique personalities, and I like the "free" compost. (It’s almost free because we buy the straw.)

I found this forum before getting quail, and found it really helpful to know how to incubate our first generation of birds, and raise them through the brooder to adulthood. And I’m thankful to find so many people so willing to answer beginner’s questions, too.

Thanks and I’m glad to be a new part of the gang!
