Hominy Grits and Chickens

Can grown chicks eat grits?
I have a sugar at problem and will be putting grits around the house perimeter.

are you talking hens and roosters or chicks, I wouldn't try chicks but if they were older than 8 weeks at least, I would try them on the chickens.

Yes, but since they're pretty much just carbohydrate, intake should be limited to treat levels...feed too much and you may have a chicken obesity issue.
