hommade 8x8 coop

Nothing fancy but here is my hommade coop. Complete with chicken steps.

Roosts. I use the deep litter method and notice no odor. I mix the bedding every or every other day.

Ugh won't let me repair my misspelled homemade...

I noticed that a lot of people use 2 x 4 for perches in the coop. Can I use other sizes my husband used 2 x 2 is that ok

2x2 is good for roost as long as the length is not to long and the size and number of birds, because of the weight. I use anything from 1x2 to 2x4 depending on length between supports and what I have around.

My perches are eight ft long and they support more than 200 lbs. I anchored them down quite well.
