Hoover hatchery breed question with pictures

Up first is my Roo. Single pea comb. Any way to tell what he is? Hoping to breed to other hens as a fun way to get blue/green/olive eggs.

Next up is a hen. I think she was the same bin as the rooster.

Lastly another hen. Again, from the same bin as the two above…

Thanks for any ideas. I’ll be reading a lot more as my college animal genetics classes were along time ago

Both hens have crests on their heads… this fact puzzles me!

All were bought as day-ish old chicks the third week of May. Bin was labeled as “Colored egg layer”

I would say your roo is a Easter Egger. As for the hens i would say they definitely have some cream leg bar ancestry.

I agree that the roo is an Easter egger, most likely a mix with the Ameraucana, with the kind of puffy chin feathers (almost bearded). The hens are likely a mix with the cream legbars, they'd still be considered easter eggers (since all of those are mixes of different breeds to get different colored eggs)
