Hi,
I have been trying and failing to hatch an egg three times this February. I have failed the last three times as the eggs were not fertile. You would think with two cockerels all the eggs would be fertilised! Anyway the eggs are particularly hard to candle because of the pigmentation of the shell. I set them last Friday so will be candling this Friday with my ovascope as it is really powerful. Fingers crossed this is the one. I will be posting throughout hopefully ending with a new little one popping out!

Being a breeder----I have had problems with 2 or more roosters in the same pen----time one jumps on the other knock him off. I put a few hens in one pen with one rooster and fertility was great. Good Luck
