I've just bought two on ebay...

My water heater ones here have a long probe, and this is not sensitive enough to regulate the temperatures.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. It looks very similar to mine. I am not sure about the temp adjustment as it reads hot and very hot lol You will have to play around with it and see what it does. Good luck with it!

I am going to guess the hot is around 90 degrees F and the very hot is probably 120 or 150 degrees F.
