Any ideas on gender of these little ones? I'm sure they're EE's, but we were told Ameraucanas. They're about 3 months old.

I also agree, and I see pretty blue eggs in your future!

That is what we were hoping for!

We have two other girls who just laid their first eggs last week, although nothing since. I'm guessing it's because they're getting used to the newbies still. But their eggs were both a light brown. We're just excited for more colors! :love

The comb seems to be red, but on closer look it may be the lighting.

It could definitely be the lighting. They're still skittish since we just got them a few days ago so it's hard to get pictures of them. In person it looks more peach ish, if that makes sense?

So, a red comb around 3 months would suggest a Cockerel? That's interesting! Thanks for getting back to me! :D

Yes a red comb at 3 months old would suggest cockerel in Ameraucanas. Wattles aren’t a good indicator in Ameraucanas because they’re small or absent.
