Hopping Chicken

I have a mixed flock of Cochins & Americanas. One of the hens hatched out 5 babies and one has been hopping since it got big enough to notice. It walks until everyone else starts to run and then it hops, like a bunny! I am not concerned just wondering if anyone else has hopping hens! Was told there is a breed that hops but cannot find any info.

That sounds very cute! I have a silkie named Muffin who hops when you say her name! lol
