Horizon coop

We are upgrading our coop from the "clubhouse coop":

Which was quite affordable and easy to build but WAY too small for our flock of 4 hens (even after the 3 roosters went somewhere very cold). Now we are assembling a Horizon 5 x 6 coop which seems really sturdy and more than enough than enough room for everyone.





Does anyone have experience with this coop? The roof will be our next challenge as I have never installed shingles.

Look a lot like the one I have. Suggestion, make sure the nesting box lid goes under the siding. You don't want a crack that allows rain flowing down the siding and into the nesting boxes. I also took out all the nesting boxes but two.

Wow your coops could be twins
