Hormonal cockerels

Hi I have 2, four month cockerels living with hens and pullets. For the majority of the time all seem to get on ok but first thing in the morning they try to mate and cause a fuss. Would I cause problems if I put them both into a seperate run for a few hours in the morning and put them back in later on ?

They will have the same behavior when coming in contact with the pullets regardless of time of day.

Maybe, but really now's the time to decide if you want to keep any males.
Depending on your chickeneering goals, I'd get rid of one or both of them.
