Hormone Implants in Georgia?

Is anyone able to PM me the name of any vets (or someone with a similar skill set) near Savannah, Georgia, who might be willing to do a leuprolide acetate or deslorlin hormone implant or injection? Does anyone know if it’s possible to mail order any sort of medication like this? We got terrible news at the vet yesterday, and our girl is not even three…. Almost wish the vet had not told me they could provide the implant for other “pet” birds but not a “food” chicken without risking her license. I’m heartbroken!

I'm sorry to hear about your hen.

Unfortunately, it does seem that the implant is not available for poultry.

The best I can suggest is call around to vets in your area to see if anyone is willing to perform the procedure.

Likely you will not find one, especially if they can lose their license.
