In the Brooder
We just brought home a McCormick new big 4 horse drawn sickle mower. Does anybody have experience with these. It appears I only need to replace the yoke and pitman arm, and lots and lots of lube. The ring gear is in great shape as well as the clutch and drive assembly but the pitman gear is brittle and very worn. We will not be using horses to pull this but instead a very slow tractor. Like horse slow, maybe slower. I have been able to find parts for the big 7 and 9 but not the four.
