Horse manure in the coop

I recently converted a horse (turn-out) shed into a coop for my new flock. The shed still has a good amount of horse manure in it. Is it necessary to clean it out before letting the chickens in? It should attract some bugs for the chickens but are there any dangers involved? I appreciate your responses.
