Horseradish

I just made a bunch of horseradish and have the peelings. Was wondering if it would be ok to throw it to the chickens or not. They say cayene pepper jump stars them into laying, thought maybe this would help too, but I don;t want to make them sick or something. Hubby says it might kill them, anyone ever give their chickens horseradish? I've seen them pick at the green leaves just a little, but they don't seem to eat much of it.

I've read where it'll make ur eggs taste funny same as onions or garlic.

I've heard that too, but right now they aren't laying at all!!! So I'm really not worried about their eggs, lol
