I have 3 2 week 2 days old Olandsk Dwarf chickens- it’s in the 90s temps during the day. I let them free range with the older hens and Roos- no issues. Then I put them in a secure crate with water and feed and a dog carrier filled with pine chips. The crate is inside a secure run. Can I leave them outside at night- temps go to 70s at night, back up to 90s at daytime. Thank you. Olandsk Dwarf are bred for cold wether tolerance.

Welcome to BYC.

I would leave them outside as long as they have protection from rain and wind. Just give them a huddle box to get into and they'll be fine.

Thank you. I kept last years new hatchlings in the house for 6 weeks and my house was a mess with dust everywhere. The weather has been so hot I wanted to get these babies outside as soon as possible. I am hoping they will know enough to go into the dog carrier and settle down into the pine shavings.

I would not count on that. You need to go out and make sure they are where they need to be in order to be safe for the night.
I have 12 day olds out in the built-in brooder in my coop. It has it's own run and the chicks are outside before the rest of the flock leaves the roost. They instinctively come back into the brooder at night but don't get under the plate unless I tuck them under. This is mostly due to the fact I unplug it in the morning and don't plug it back in until lockup so it doesn't attract them with it's heat.
A huddle box doesn't emit heat either. They won't yet know that they can stay warm in there for the night.
