hot wire around run?

hi all! i really want to do hot wire/electric fence around the outside of my run (and also maybeee the exterior of coop windows), but i’m a total newbie to all this so i’ve just been looking at different types of wire and product reviews online. if anyone has a set up they really like could you give me a brief review and brand name/where i can purchase? i may be overthinking but i just want to be sure i’m giving my girls the best protection i can. thanks in advance!!

I have electric wires around my coops and pens. The thread in the above post is excellent. TSC and Premier1Supplies have everything you need. I personally use the wire because I have several pens. Good luck and have fun...

Nothing has gotten past the wires. Here I have insulators but you can also use step in posts.
