House hens housing?

I kept quite a few in the house over the winter... Some in the office, some in the shower, chicks in rubbermaid tubs til they got bigger ect ect ect. At first i was thrilled with being able to spend so much time with them but now uffdah!@! the dust is HORRIBLE!!!!! And this crowing business is equally bad. I do NOT reccomend it unless its just a few. When i got my first serama quad i knew they wouldn't be able to get along with the cochins and other mixed bantams so i built them an extra special coop in the office which has now turned into a duplex. It was great with just the quad in there but then they bred like wet gremlins munching after midnight. Then some went broody, i got more eggs to hatch and things began spiraling out of control. I have to change the furnace filter once a week now and the concrete floor in the office will NEVER be the same

We are now making plans for a breeding pen in the garage where there is a heat/air duct which the pen will be built around so they will have air in the summer and heat in the winter. Only 8 out of 50+ chickens live outside in a little chicken coop with no windows the rest live in the garage, and the house for now until the new shed/coop is built outdoors. It is very easy to get carried away having them indoors but you learn quick that it wasn't the best idea

I have two house chickens and thank goodness cause I thought I was the ONLY one that did such a thing ! They are in all winter and in at night in the nice weather. They are Very healthy and love being in. On super hot days they don't even go out, they stay inside with the air cond...The only thing is the DUST, ugh....I have a shed and enclosure with my other chickens in, but sure enough every once in a great while something happens to one, no matter how careful I am. So these two girls were rasied like this and don't know any different. They wait by the door of their run at night to be brought inside. If anyone has any photos of their inside set up that would be great, I'd love to get ideas!!
