Housing Ducks and Chickens Together

How have your experiences been with housing ducks and chickens together. Does it work? We have a month old duck that we'd like to try and put in with about the same age chickens.... so the duck is bigger. Will that work? (they'd be in a pen that could be moved frequently so it shouldn't be really wet.

i have mine in there now because my otheres died if you put him in a cage by himself with them then after a day let him loose then they will fight a little then settle down

The duck was out with us today & seemed interested in going in the pen with the chickens (all juvies). The rooster went up to her (I think her

) and she said she wasn't putting up with it. They all seem to be getting along great. I just went out to double check & they are all roosted together. Will they be ok together once everyone is grown?

I have aracana chickens and pekin ducks together. They get along fine.

I have muscovies and a runner in with my laying flock and have never had any problems.
