housing for feather feet bantams?

Right now, I have an old stall for my d'uccles to run around in, the floor used to be just dirt but now it's mostly hay. I'd really like to buy/build a pen to house them in rather than the stall because their feathers on their feet are still breaking off as bas as when I had just dirt. I know I'd be using pine shavings as bedding. Any ideas on pens or mini coops? It would be for 4-8 birds.

I have two d'Uccles in my flock and use sand in my coops and pens. So far, their feathers still look beautiful with no breakage.
