housing with chickens?

Hi We are new to ducks tho we have a large flock of chickens... we are getting our ducklings son and trying to prepare their area. ...I do not want to house them with our chickens but I am seeing some that do was wondering if I could hear how you feel and think on the matter and why. ... thank you

I housed my ducks and chicken together they got along fine for months till one of the ducks went into molt and busted a blood feather, at the sight of blood the chickens attacked was lucky to save her, I keep them separate now it helps me to split a higher protein game feed for the ducks from the chickens and I let them out in the yard together with no problems. Also my ducks have produced twice as many eggs since having them seperate which may be the feed or less stress no really sure.
