I thought I would get used to this, but it is really annoying. Do they all sound like this, or am I just lucky? How can a fan so small make such a wonderful noise? I have it in the master bathroom, because that is the room with the most constant temperature in the house. I hear it while I'm sleeping and keep having these nightmares of being at the dentist office. It might be better if the heater going off and on didn't change the tone. Gives it that sense of realisim. Will the chicks end up fearing the dentist as much as I do? Oh well, only 18 more nights to go.

Hmm, mine just makes a humming sound. Try checking the screws. sometimes they work loose and the fan will be crooked and vibrate. Check under the lid and check to see if the little keeper rings on the screws are tight, sometimes they work loose and fall off.

Thanks for the tip. I just checked it out and the're all tight. Guess the only thing with a screw loose must be me.

mine is pretty loud. i have the lg as a hatcher, right next to the 1588. when i have babies peeping, i have to turn it off for a minute so i can talk to the babies.

I can't wait for mine to arrive.

It will be like I've never left work.

O JOY!

Luceee..... you got some splainin' to do.....

No one ever told me it would make noise!!!!

Does a Miss Prissy bator make noise????

I may have to make one.... and keep the 1588 as my hatcher.
