Hova bator 1602N TURNER

Has anyone used a turner with the Hova Bator 1602N? What exactly is an egg turner and how does it work?

Yes, I use an egg turner and I have 2 of the HovaBator #1602s;the turner is helpful because it does the turning for you!

You can probably purchase one where you got your bator; here where I live, our local farmers' co-op carries both this model of incubator and the egg turners that fit it. Hope this helps!

The turner has holes for the eggs to fit in, kind of like an egg crate but with holes in the bottoms of the cups. It turns the eggs so slowly that you can't actually watch it turn, but it tilts the eggs from side to side. I think mine said it takes about 4 hours to turn to one side, if I remember correctly. I love mine because I am so busy I would probably forget to turn the eggs by hand.
