I'm getting a new incubator that we'll be using for guineas and chickens (not at the same time obviously).

I've narrowed it down to one of these with the egg Turner's, automatic fan kits, etc.

But I can't decide which one to get. Which one do you prefer?

Hi!

I've also begun researching incubators recently. I am going for the 2370, and here is what I found:

The 1620N is meant to be a still-air incubator, though you can purchase an add-on fan kit. The 2370 has a fan built in so you don't have to mess with it. It appears that the 1620N also does not have a built in thermometer (though I understand that you can purchase a kit with an add-on one). There's also some mention of 'wafer' thermostat vs electronic (belonging to the 1620N and 2370 respectively) and their reliability. I'm not entirely sure what to think on that point though.

I think I'm going to purchase from Incubator Warehouse. For both options I think the Advanced kit is a good choice. It will provide you with the necessary components for a good hatch.

Good luck!

Good to know I'm not the only one thinking the same thing! I ended up going with the 2370 myself with electronic thermometer and air fan, also got the egg Turner and everything else. I've never used a flat egg Turner before so we'll see how that goes. Eggs are set to hatch in 10 days, I can't wait to see how well this incubator works compared to our last one! I purchased it also from incubator warehouse 🤣
