hovabator question

should the plug on a hovabator be opened during the last three days of the hatching process or leave it plugged? i always have live chicks in the shell on day 18, but have problems w everyone actually hatching out. humidity is ok, but is the plug relivant since it's a forced air incubator?

Leave them plugged in for the first 3 days of incubation, and then take them out for the rest of the incubation.

what exactly does removing the plug do if you already have air movement from the fan?

I had a Hova-Bator and it said to remove the plugs after day 3? So that's what I did!
