how are bird virus' transmitted?

I use netting, so my flock doess not come in contact with wild birds, yet my flock is being decimated with some kind of virus. Do they catch suff from mosquitoes?

I think they can, look up Mosquitoes as "vectors"

Yes, mosquitos carry all kinds of diseases. Fowl pox and west nile virus' come to mind. You would need to contact your county extension agent to assist ascertaining what is going though your flock.
