How big do your rooster get.

I have seen some pretty big roosters. I own three that will easily top 10 pounds each. They are two BO and 1 NHR. But I was curious as to how big some of your roosters get.

Well not as big as yours. But I went dual purpose. My RIRs are slightly bigger than the standard says by about a pound or 2. Most people who see them say my birds are the biggest of that breed they ever saw, but they are slightly spoiled. I would say my roos are about 8LBs. I sometimes think about getting a meat type, but really I don't need to. I have plently of meat potential with my current stock.

Jerry runs between 12 and 16 pounds depending on the season. He is a standard show quality Cochin.
