How can I clean my ducks nostrils?

One of my ducks nostrils are clogged and I keep giving clean water to clean it it's self but it's still clogged. What can I do?

Have you given your duck something to bath in? usually when fully in water they go to town cleaning themselves that may motivate your duck to clean out those nostrils. they also need a bucket deep enough to wash their whole head in, if young you can probably use a wet qtip and try to clean it out.Wrap in a towel and then use a qtip dipped in warm water and a little apple cider vinegar.

Is the water deep enough to reach the nares? Find a pool or fill your tub and stick'um in there. Hopefully they will start to clean themselves.

I haven't yet. They are about 11 days old and I'm new at this. Can I let them swim around a little in shallow water?

Yah, try to get it to the point that the legs are barley touching the bottom. Keep an eye on them though, don't just walk way.

I used to make sure the water was about 90F the first week, 85 the second, just like the recommended brooder temperatures. Don't want them to get chilled.

I put them in there for a bit and they loved it. It helped the little ones to clear their nares.
