How can i help an injured hen

I have a rooster and 3 hens and 6 chicks (not with the group yet) one of the older hens about 2 yr old had injured her foot not sure how. the rooster which is about 6months old is keeping her from the rest of the flock. is there a reason this would happpen or anything i can do to help her with her leg heal and reintroduce her to the flock.
