Hi,
Apart from adding oyster shell grit, how can I increase the level of calcium in my bird's feed.
Any ideas or suggestions please?

At the moment some are laying soft shells, but they are old birds! So, I'm not sure if it's an age problem or calcium....

Kale is very high in calcium. Even alfalfa has quite a bit of calcium. If the shells are becoming too thin, you might look into some liquid calcium you add to their water. It is not easy to find however. I have a chicken who, all her life, has laid either shell-less eggs or extremely thin shelled eggs. I had to go to my vet to get this liquid calcium supplement.

Twocrowsranch - Thanks, I'll look into the liquid calcium supplement. And the kale and alfalfa is a new one for me to. Oh the things I learn on here!
