how can i make my yard 'fun'

I have a really small yard so I figured that I could just let my chickens free range. Im starting to think that they are getting bored. What can I put in the yard (besides plants - im already working on that) that they can play with, climb on, and hide under???

flock block,mirror,suet hanger with chicken treats in it, tiny ladders positioned so they can climb up and over, sandbox. thats off the top of my head, im sure theres plenty more
