How close are these pullets to laying?

Your picture links aren't working for me.

What breed? How old? Are their combs and wattles getting bigger and red? Are they in with a rooster?

I find around here when the roo starts to chase after them and attempt to breed them, it is usually 2 weeks later that I get my first egg. Seems to have happened that way with all of my pullets so far in both breeds; Marans and Silkies.

A couple of them are getting closer. What I find are the best indicators is when the comb and wattles get bigger and go very red. Also, when you go to pet them, they'll kind of "squat" for you. However, some hens never did that for me, even after point of lay.
