Does anyone know why my Silkie would start laying eggs and then stop after a year? I thought that she stopped because it was winter. But then she never laid another egg!

Every chicken is different.

A week ago I was getting 8 to 10 eggs a day. Today I got 3. Not fair.

Yeah - I use to get 5 a day, now I get 1.
