How Do I Artificaily Inseminate Chickens?

Sorry. Got to know. I'm just about to breed my first winning pair of chickens and the "conventional" way could mess up the hens feathers. Thanks.

I dont think I ever heard this, but best was to contact your local vet ? or is theres a big poutry club in your area? good luck ! By the way if you need to use the rooster for mating, let him in pen with her one or twice, then seperate, it wont mess up "Their Hair" keeping them together for longer periods of time, will do damage.

check out the show Mike's (Rowe) Dirty Jobs... he did an episode on sucking the sperm out of roosters for some reason or another... didn't finish watching it but it was seriously gross and funny
