How do I catch him crowing???

Okay first of all we are new to this. This morning when I went out to open the coop I heard the sound I have been dreading...crowing. Our "girls" are now 14 weeks old and we aren't allowed roosters in the city we live in, but one is definitely a cockerel. I am not positive which one is crowing, though I am leaning towards the Easter egger. "She" started sounding a little funny about a month ago and I've been keeping a close eye on her since. She also seems to have the more pronounced saddle and hackle feathers coming in. Three out of the four also have fairly large combs, and two of them are quite red. My problem is I need to figure this out quickly so my neighbors don't report me, it's pretty loud. If I stand away from the coop the crowing starts up, then when I walk toward the coop it stops. It's pretty dark in there and they're all roosting next to each other so I can't tell which one it is. Im praying its only one. Any advice?

Mine usually start early early in the morning right before dawn. Though mine have no shame in their game and will continue to crown while I'm videoing it!!

I have 3, now one seems to have taken the dominant lead...he will crow when I come around, to remind me he is in charge...but its tricky, at first they all waited till I left...! You just have to be sneaky and hang around them in the early AM...you'll find him!

@Barred-That's funny! Mine sounds more like a sickly cry. Or like a higher pitch old car horn.
@Jo-yeah I had to work today but I'll definitely be stalking them in the morning. I hope I can figure out which one it is soon.

Our roo started crowing a few weeks ago,
sounded like he had a kazoo stuck in his neck.
He too would only crow when we were far
away from the run. Now he crows all day.
He was about a foot from me and let loose.
You can also check the leg size, we were not
sure until we noticed his legs they are alot bigger.
He never acted cocky or anything but his comb,
we noticed came in alot faster than the girls did.
Our hens actually make more noise than he does.
Really a shame you can't keep him, ours is very
protective of his girls and he is only 13 weeks.

Yeah I wish I could keep him. We are all really attached to them all too so I'm not exactly sure what we're gonna do with him. I guess I'll start asking around looking to rehome him. anyone in the Dallas/Fort Worth area want a really cool EE Cockerel?
