How do I fully sustain my poultry without commercial feed?

Hi! I have guineas, ducks and chickens. I really want to create a chicken garden. (an acre or 2) and i want to stop buying commercial feed all together. i need anything and everything i can plant thats SAFE. They will be able to free range aside from that. Any suggestions?

I have been wanting to try the method/s myself but am still getting around to it. You may find that vegetables like pumpkins or tomatoes, however much your birds love them, grow too slowly. The link above has loads of information about growing fresh chicken feed.
