How do I keep my big hens out of the baby chick's feeder?

It sounds like they may just be young! It takes them time to settle down are realize that not everything will eat them!

Maybe, but considering the older birds are about to be one-year-olds, and the younger ones eight months, I'm thinking they are just slow learners or wusses.
