a house, with a roof.
I have one laying pullet. I also have 3 non laying pullet sand a cockerel. Today, when my pullet went to go lay an egg, all the other ones came in and invaded her privacy. Half an hour later, I just had to lock them in the run. Is there any way to keep them from doing this? I can’t go out and lock them out of the coop every time she lays an egg, I have other things I need to do. Any advice would be appreciated.

This is a reason why some people use curtains over their nest box. Just simple scraps of fabric nailed or stapled to "hide the view." I have used them and the girls didn't like it, but I left a few up and after six months, they've now switched to using the nest boxes with curtains. I think it just depends on your flock and their mood!

I’ll have to try curtains, thank you!
