Ok....So this little friend of mine here needs to die. I'm pretty sure this is the same little friend that we shot/shot at almost a month ago. He seems to have no fear of me at all. The first time I saw him a month or so ago it was like 8-9 in the morning and he was coming up behind me when my FIL yelled that he was out there. So I ran in the house to get the shotgun and when I came out he was aways away in the feild on a hill. He saw me and did this little play hop and started trotting back at me. FIL took a shot with the .22 and we thought he hit him because hit rear end jumped and his tail spun and he ran off. But low and behold I get this on my trail cam last night. The time is off. It was really around 2:30 AM. Anyhow. I'm almost positive this is the same guy. Question is...how do I get rid of him when I can't see him and I have other animals to worry about? Also he has gotten 3 birds for sure in the last 2 weeks.

Trap him and shoot him.

Or, if you're feeling adventurous set up a lawn chair and your shotgun and wait. He'll be back.

How do I trap him other than a leg trap? I worry because I have cats out here...I don't wanna have them end up in a leg trap

Can you call animal control? Is that a coyote? That thing is not afraid of you at all it posed for the picture. Holly cow! I would call animal control or a trapper, maybe even your local sheriff department they may have someone come out and wait for it. Does it show up everyday at the same time or what? Good luck I hope that your animals don't get hurt

Well last year I had a coyote that liked to come harass the place in broad daylight. Even while I was out there. The one after noon I chased him out of the yard on foot. This is a fox. Looks like a big guy at that. I don't know how often he is coming up. That is why I put the trail cam out. He's been here twice in the last week and a half. That door way he was going into in the picture...one of my muscovy hens is nesting in there on the ground. DNR and what not don't care. I contacted them 2 years ago when all of this started. They said oh yea you can go ahead and shoot them. Thats about all the help that they were.

Don't do that. Drowning is one of the longest, most painful, terrifying and inhumane methods of killing something. If you are going to plan to trap or kill something, then you have to be kind enough to do it in the quickes most painless way possible. If you don't have a gun or know how to use it, call your friends and family until you find someone you know that can help. Ask that person to help you dispose of the animal or teach you how to use a gun so that you can do it when the time comes.

Also, you can catch a fox in a racoon size trap.
